Cool, thats the weekend before Texas, I have all that time off work.

Drags, dyno runs, trip to texas, and a week off work after the fact.

    Winning!

I can't make this meeting, but I'll be there for the other 2 later in the year. Something for you to aim at Linkin...

Murdo ran 9.65 at the last meet in 39-40 degree temperatures.

Nope (it is a Honda), just drained the fuel from carbs and tank so it doesn't go stale (but I leave the fuel in the pump so it wont dry out), checked the oil level, oiled the chain, checked the coolant level and tightened a couple of bolts. Will check the tyre pressures and fill with fresh fuel before next meeting.

Fair enough. Are you planning to run at the Gunnedah drags again?

I have used nulon fuel stabiliser in my ZXR's. It works to an extent.

I fitted an in-line filter as well, it stops crud building up in the carbs.

Fuel goes bad in the heat, so store it in the coolest place possible and avoid heating & cooling cycles as it attracts moisture.

I gotta put fuel in my other bikes so I drain from those bikes I am not intending to use for the next month and use it in them. Always like to have fresh fuel in the drag bike.

Have you tried Racing fuel in it? I love the smell of Racing fuel.. not as good as the old days.. but still better than pump fuel lol

No point (other than the smell) as not enough compression to make use of it.

smells like the good old race days...also helps pick out the rev heads in traffic, they are the ones sniffing the air and looking around :D

    edit
I also put it into my lawn mower, makes the task a little more pleasurable

    PS
dont use the stuff from the chemist/supermarket as it has a lot of sugar added...get it from a hobbie shop (R/C nitro motors run it) or a good auto speed shop
