    I meant 08.
The welding involves fabricating a small lug with a thread in it and welding it to the frame. That is not a particularly big job. Also required are set back brackets for each side and a complete new gearside forward control unit, and new shift rod.
Cost for the bits is about $250.

Yep, am mates with Dale, spoke with him this morning, he'll suss out how to get it done. Also the dual seat sits you a little farther forward too, might be worth trying that before we do anything savage.

I have not seen one of the Hunters close up for a while but would imagine that it would involve cutting of the existing brackets and rewelding them closer to the seat, then shorten the connecting rods. Lick of paint and your ready to enjoy.

Hi FeeFee, I can see your problem from the photo, I don't think big boots will help. How much further forward will the padded seat sit you? Maybe a piece of foam or pillow to try before you buy the seat.

Ughh, ran into my first problem wiv bike. Had it running before, for about 5 mins, it kicked over first time and didnt miss a beat. The bike has not skipped a beat since ive had it. Was ready to go for a ride, then a friend pulled up, so i turned it off and came inside for 1 hr, once my friend left , I went to go for my ride now the damn thing wont start, its turning over, but just wont go. i smelt fuel, thought i might of flooded it. Still no joy on it now 1 hr later :( My dad is trying to start it right now, nearly starts....it wants to go badly, u can hear that part lol any suggestions? Regardless Murdo if the seat doesnt push me any further forward, i still need it cos i keep slipping back on this one.
