I use the antigravity lipo batts ..like how small they are and you can tuck them away almost anywhere...Just be careful of parasitic drain, kills em dead...also that your charging system isn't pumping out to much voltage....
    I use a set of these https://www.jaycar.com.au/anderson-50a-power-connector-6-gauge-contacts/p/PT4420
to disco the batt when the bike is sitting for a mth or more, or should things go bang....

650 parts. I'm particularly excited to get parts for a bike I pretty much never have to buy parts for... ! It's refreshing!

Bought some el cheapo front brake discs for the Honda. That will keep it on the road while I will pull the OEM ones apart and make some new bobbins for them. HTB1Rphka5CYBuNkSnaVq6AMsVXaO.jpg

So there will be a line of people with 132 people in it waiting to pay their $5 parcel tax at the Post Office, while the person behind the counter tries to find another roll of receipt paper to put in the printer. Oops we are closed now, come back tomorrow.

Don't laugh, but that looks very much like the bike @GreyImport is building to go drag racing! He said he was going to "bling it to death!".

Lucky that I don't (as a private citizen) import more than 1000 items per year or I might be getting taxed too.

Had my new ramp delivered today... makes it easier if I need to move a bike or 2... :) Its a fold up aluminium item that will take up to 500kg and is about 2.3 metres when folded out so it will be easy to load onto the fold up trailer... didnt take any pics but I will tomorrow...
The other item delivered is destined to make the SRX into a more powerful little beast... all I need to do is pull the engine apart.. split the cases and take them and my barrel to see my friendly machinist so he can bore out the cases about 13mm extra diameter... it will then be an SRX350

I already have a 350 head... stroke is identical, as is the conrod and bearings. I will need a new Piston as the barrel needs a re-bore but it is easy to get a suitable piston. Wiseco seem to be reasonably priced.
I will wait till the cases are machined before I order that.. and the A$ might improve a little too... hopefully.

My zxr oil and water seals arrived, finally. But my ute parts have also arrived, and I have an assignment due, so it'll be a while before the zxr gets any attention. :-( But I also got Across parts, thanks to @kiffsta, so there's that to do, too. And the marauder, wr250f, DR350. Soon, my precious!

So, as posted in another thread my FZR fork seals arrived today from Megazip.

The other item to arrive, late this afternoon is a new Bolle Face mask.
I have a reasonable amount of grinding still to do and I need to wear my glasses.
I decided a decent full face mask was cheap considering how expensive new glasses are (plastic multi focal photochromic lenses).
I have had cheap ones before and they are not comfortable, the Bolle is really nice and at $45 is good insurance as far as I am concerned.

I was meant to be in the Hunter Valley today but that was cancelled early this morning.. (means a day trip tomorrow) but at least I was home to take delivery of this little lot... My SRX250 3WP tank finally arrived from Japan.. it has taken a while as it had to come via Sea Freight but it is here and it looks to be pretty good. It has aftermarket paint which has bubbled in one spot so that will be interesting to strip back and see what is there but no big dings and even the inside looks to be in pretty good condition.. unfortunately my inspection mirror is too big to go through the filler hole but what I have seen... I like. Plus the fuel filler looks to be almost brand new... pretty good for the grand sum of A$12.00.
I couldnt resist sitting it on the frame with the seat and taking a pic... now to get the frame blasted so I can prime it and start to do the mock up.. once it all goes together and no more mods... then I can paint.

Today was a good day from the Postie... my tyre levers arrived so I can try and remove the old tyres from the FZR rims and strip the paint from them. I am going to try the Zip tie method...once I can break the bead :)

If you've got any clamps like these https://www.bunnings.com.au/irwin-300mm-quick-grip-mini-bar-clamp_p5861542

they are quick - I messed with the cable tie method and ended up resorting to the clamps - three should be sufficient - and it's quick, not real deal manufactured machine which does it easily quick, just faster than the cable ties

OPS forgot to mention, get ~8cm long pieces of electrical conduit and cut it down the length as rim protectors
