That's the problem with riding things up, makes the next thing look bad, then there's no end to it!....

But looking good. Another classic being rescued by @kiffsta

choppers are for mericans , I am doing this more as a trial of how much it will cost to rescue neglected bikes , fix them and resell them at the shop . I have a mc22 sitting there in similar condition that I paid $500. for , it I put in $1500, maybe it is a $3k bike , but the amount of effort is crazy if I worked to an hourly rate

dunno yet , seems more fun to save them than part them

I would be the same with the older type bikes ... especially if they were close to "complete"

    How about "Capalaba County Classics"

    :D

Looks like this is happening now , the brake lines are blocked up with gummy brake fluid , I dont want to use them as they are in a poor state

Kerry my painter sent me some
Pics of the tank and front fender, it looks great . The Chinese kit fender didn’t fit, looks like someone cut the mount and it won’t bolt on unless pushing into the tyre , lucky I had an oem one that I could use

chain and sprockets are done, front brakes now work with a Zx6 master and good ridge braided lines

Had to a emergency run to Melbourne on Wednesday night for a funeral, then back to Brisbane on Thursday night, so mot much work on the bike.
I managed to replace the seat cover with some spare vinyl I had lying around.

tank and front fender back from the painter , I am missing the tank mount and rubbers , but have some on order from the jap auctions

time to move it off the lift until they arrive , all I have to buy is some decent grips, levers and a battery

Oh, how I dislike fitting Chinese fairings

just a pillion seat to go and I can mark this one done, I snuck in a quick test ride but has been raining all day so wet roads and new tyres are not a good pairing , clutch isn’t perfect , I think the clutch cable is from a c model but apart from that it is bloody awesome

Amazing job. Can't you rebuild an ZXR250C and ship it to Holland for me?
