rough idea.....measure battery voltage while not running then start and see voltage at battery while running and headlight on.you might run 2 small speakers but doubt a cooler.

Bit the bullet and got stuck into the brakes this arvo, got the front all done dusted, the rear will have to wait till tomorrow/ another time. Didn't get any pictures as the old Galaxy S3 was flat as usual. On the cooler topic, looking into thermo electrics. Any auto sparky gurus got anything to say on that idea?

You will have to clarify what you are seeking. Could it be the wasted heat to convert into electrical power, I'm not certain what you referring to, Let me know.

My understanding (after all of 20 mins looking) is the same module can produce dc power from either a hot or cold item. How ever putting power into it, will give a hot side and a cold side. So in theory I could attach one to the exhaust headers, and then use that heat to power another one to cool the fridge... I would however just power it from the battery. I could be very wrong....

Interesting, I have been reading material on this subject, must confess the majority goes right over my head. However it is said that BMW are currently work on a similar plan for there cars. Power generating plants seem to be high on the agenda as so much of the power generated is wasted and this new technology could capture as much as 35 to 40% additional energy, keep me posted on your findings.

most portable coolers work on this principle and use 12 volt power but the cooling effect will not freeze.

Lets go with the power above must think it looks better in peices... primer was a few days late, in this time a bit of board fell on a part of the fairing, so now I have to weld that back up before I can even prime it....... The cost of fuel in the Patrol is killing me atm I miss my bike.

screen doesnt matter , had myn vinal wraped at my inspection . it was also cut/trimmed
as risky said you can get covers all ready made . i would have a look at spotlight or something for some good pleather
then all you need is a staple gun some scissors and patience , you could even go to Clark rubber and get better foam and re foam the seat if you wanted
