Wow over 400 ! For that price I would expect it to have fresh paint in my colour , new bearings and all . Just seems that people are prepared to pay over the top prices

400 is not bad price but you must be careful of the condition of the finish as they require a special procedure to have them recoated due to its material of its composition

It has been claimed that there is not much magnesium in the nsr magtek rims . I still can't believe the prices they are fetching these days , the weight difference is not that much compared to the stock rims . It is just the wow factor that makes these rims desirable . Luckily I got mine years ago .

Yeah I don't see a lot of point in buying them. Better to just by an SP with the Magteks stock.

Nice Aky. Have you taken a look to see if it has the wire splice done yet?

If you need a PGM might be better going for an Ignitech. PGMIIIs on Yahoo Japan have gone up a lot lately. Brisfox is running an Ignitech on his MC21 from memory. Matt at Tyga Performance has done a lot of work with them.

As far as I am aware, the Ignitech controls all of that. Might be worth asking Brisfox and Matt at Tyga.

I've read some scary things on NSR forums, i'd rather stick to pgm tbh
cheaper in long run as dyno tuning is EXXY

No worries mate. All that said, the wire splice will unleash the beast (60hp compared to 35-40hp). If you do it you will need to rejet.

I think Zeeltronic sell a ready to run ignition for the NSR now . If you want some extra hp get a programable unit . If you want easy riding get another pgmiii .

my ignitech unit is hanging in the shed due to a lack of customer service from Tyga Matt
I sourced a cheap PGM from a wreakers in Japan and I'm more than happy.
I will be building a NS 500, ill be using a Zeel in that. PM me if you need any help with you rocket, the splice is easier the breathing and I recon my jetting and air intake a just about spot on.
