Rode out to see my parents and then went for a ride thru Toowoomba, did 400kms needless to say I am stiff lol. The bike went really well and averaged 5.6L per 100km so better economy then I expected!
I had aftermarket indicators on my Ninja, but after having the bike washed they started to fall off... so I put the stock ones back on. Can anyone recommend some aftermarket indicators (front) that are flush, have a good mounting system (ie bolt & bracket, not glue) and don't cost $100 + ?
Got the angle grinder out again and separated the rear wheel from the scrap swingram. Axle had corrosion-fused to the bearings and brake caliper bracket. Heating / penetrant had no effect at all, so nothing left to do but cut it out / off. Wheel is undamaged and ready for the next stage. Ian B.
Bought new battery for cbr got home and bang slip for my seal kit so I raced to post office before close handed my slip and waited for the gift from the gods(@maelstrom) lol To be informed I can pick it up tomorrow insert the saddest look I can think of I didn't bloody look at the date lol
What is it with this country. Order parts from an overseas store, I have them 3 days later. Order stuff from Australian store & pay tuesday evening, they dick around on wednesday, ship it out today, so I won't get it tomorrow because the AusPost contractors don't actually deliver? TL;DR: I bought another set of indicators because a rubbernecker managed to smash my right side one... a day after I put the originals back on. Sigh...
