Do after market plug caps exists for the FZR and Zeals? If so where can one obtain them and what specs does it require? Mine aren't sealing properly and causing the motor to miss occasionally and don't feel like paying genuine tax.
Also updating found greys FZR build thread with the link to new caps etc but noticed they are 5k resistance, Zeal spec sheet says its a 10K though will this make much difference etc, is the bigger the number better or the lower, I honestly have no clue when it comes to this.
http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/ngk-resistor-covers-identification-and-part-numbers.1118/ These guys sell on ebay also ... which is how I got mine http://gsparkplug.com/ignition.html Look closely on your old cap and it should have the number on it http://www.ngk.com.au/spark-plugs/technical-information/resistor-spark-plugs http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/products/performance/resistor_covers.asp?mode=nml
So after reading them (correct me if i'm wrong) so a spark plug dampens so much of the RFI but not all of it so the caps block the rest, so that would mean a higher resistance would be a good thing then? Or can too high of a ohm resistance in the cap cause issues?
Also in regards to keeping water out and away from my plugs do the SD05SF actually seal the plug hole up properly or is there gaps around the outside? (pics stolen from your build thread grey)
