Project FZR 250 3LN3 Restoration

I noticed a way to get it off just takes maximum effort, I think I'll use the 250 airbox for now, main thing that makes it difficult to remove the rear section is the bloody seat lock but no matter, the seats coming off anyway I want to make it a little more race like and I don't want to lift there is enough weight as is haha. I didnt realise the 32mm mikuni carbs were so scarce in South Africa I might have to buy a set off fleabay but I am concerned about their condition and I'll

That's the thing not all of them can be trusted. There was a guy in knysa who advertised ZZR400 carbs and I bought it, Knysna is about 400km from me and he scammed us. I know of all three though the guy in Rustenburg in hesitant to post it because its really really really far from me. I found a pair in Durban this morning though for R1500-00 if i give him my old carbs in return so I am going to do that.

 

Hi Guys I made some progress today, I am busy customizing the fairings they are on now as a test fit the side fairings are 100% fibreglass no plastic they are perfect copies of the 250 fairings so they must be made to fit my new motor.

And yes the bike is definitely getting FZR400R SP Sticker set I think she deserves it.
