    Been working on getting my 1983 XT600 Tenere back together and running. Got a bit done on one engine (while waiting on bits for the Tenere) but is has a problem with the selectors and I will have to split the cases.

    Had one of these brand new , but is was the FE model , which is the second model released.Had the biggest tank slap ever on this bike , it so bad it actually shook the mirror loose. Didn't like the bike much after that , sold it later and only had around 1500 K's on it .Mine did go very well though, i use to be able chase down and hold an old mates VF1000 back in the days.Was informed later by a guy that use to tune these things for a living , it's how you run it in depends on the performance of it , not sure of this though.
