Hey guys... as some of you may know I am in the stages of getting my zxr ready for summer. The bike has done 37000km and ive already bought a list of items such as
    the sigma jet kit,
    Litetek seal kit,
    new seals for the forks,
    near new water pump cover,
Will do a full coolant flush and replace thermostat
    clutch kit,
    Obviously engine oil and filter
    Spark plugs
    air filter (unifilter)
    d.i.d chain and sprocket
new brake discs all round with new pads
    Im rebuilding all 3 calipers
Ill get new braided brake lines made up
Plus im throwing a new set of fairings at it...

my question is how much further should I go with the build? I know she lets out a puff of blue smoke when she is fired up for the first time of the day so im guessing thats the rings... with that being said, should I just pull the motor out and go nuts on it? New bottom end barings, rod bearings, rings, valve stem seals, do my valve clearance and also throw a new timing chain and tensioner on it?... possibly get the frame repainted and maybe do the wheels awell... Or am I just going over the top? I realize I probably will never get my money back if I ever sell it but I figure it would be nice to save and resurrect a classic little icon... but what would u do?

dont think you will find new bearings and rings etc easily, if at all. just get it running sweet and when it blows up get another engine.
