Im back after a whirlwind 48 hours getting to Sydney and vsiting the show with a 7 year old in tow. It was great to meet Richard Collins and the crew from Rapid as well as see some real eye candy and some nice bikes too !!! I also had a quick chat with Ben from Hunter Motorcyles and Bob from Motorsports Imports who bring in the Megelli and a few others. Best not to bore you with the details, but here are pics of the 250's I saw at the show Cheers N Beers Chris
awesome. gee some of the Hyosungs are looking really nice now days. Looks like your little boy had fun. Some nice bikes there, i really like the naked HYO
thanks Slender, yes Jack had some fun there. I spent some time talking to the dealers there about the site and generally about 250's and how they are selling. Surprisingly the guy at the Suzuki stand stand said the TU250 was a slow starter when it released and now he cant get enought of them, he had 4 on back order for his store. The Hyosung guys were pretty good value and were positive about the bikes they had on offer. Honda had a huge stand with 3 x CBR's and 1 x VTR on show. The Repsol CBR in the photos was a prize for Motorcycle trader, I even met Spannerman who was a top guy and really interesting to talk to. I chatted with Ben and his wife from Hunter Motorcycles, their bikes are now mostly 350's except for what they ship to WA, I had a good look at their bobber and the build quality was impressive. Torino were there and it was interesting to they had different engines in their bikes ie lifan in one model. Daelim had 2 x roadwins and some scooters on display but they didnt seem to get muhc attention. Point taken it was Friday that I was there and the weather was poor which may have kept some people away. Aside from the 250's, I did spend some time checking out other bikes, the best bike at the show for me was the Ducati 848, OMG did I fall head over heals for this bike, absolutely smoking hot  Gas Gas has their trials bikes on display and had Jack Field ( freestyle motocross World Champion) was riding his trials bike and did a backflip off a 50cm ramp... awesome.
