Just an update, we will be using DHL packet service (no extra charge for most orders) for all customers except those in UK and most of Europe. Germany will also be DHL Packet. The rated shipping time is 7 to 21 days but thus far it seems at the lower end and more reliable than the postal service. We are also now able to supply Canada and Chile using this service. Cheers Blair
Awesome news mate, while every kit I have ordered from you has arrived, some take 2 weeks and others have taken up to 4 weeks to get here and I am one of those guys who get peeved waiting for parts to arrive.
Well they are turning up in Aus in about 6 days now. From there it is up to Aus Post but it should not take much longer.
One of my customers in the Netherlands just got their order, total time 5 days. Aus customers seem to be getting much better times too. Canada remains a complete clusterfuck and I am thinking about dumping Canada again.
I am now using DHL's better service to Aus so customers should have full tracking and no more scammers for me, win, win!
Anyone who would like a quicker service to Aus, I can put carb kit orders through the same service that we use for the silicone hose kits but their is a 200 Thai Baht surcharge (more if you are buying something heavy). Your order will be delivered to you by DHL all the way. Time is advertised as 5-7 days but if you mix a weekend or public holiday in there then things get delayed. There is also a one day delay for pick up if we do not have one scheduled.
Just an update, Canada remains a joke. The only other countries that DHL have issues with are either war zones or seriously under developed. Here is the message from DHL. We can get it to Canada guaranteed but after that, good luck. For Aussie shipments we are shipping by registered airmail or DHL packet standard. There is no benefit in using DHL Packet Plus because Aus post will not track and it is actually slower. Despite all that Aus Post have a very, very good track record for delivery but are sometimes a bit slow.
More news: We can now ship Express for about half price which is not a bad option for Canadian customers. Example 730 THB to Canada by UPS. 583 THB by Aramex to Australia
