    70,000kms, has been sitting for 5+ years. Brakes are all seized, tanks full of crud along with the carbs. I've been looking to add a ninjette to the fleet for a while so we'll see how this one goes.

    I didn't have much time today but I got the carbs disassembled and into the ultrasonic cleaner. Luckily the diaphragms are ok. Looks like it needs the works,chain,sprockets,front and rear brake master cylinders rebuilt,tyres,oil,coolant,fuel lines and my favourite.....fork seals! I got the carbs reassembled and back on the bike,flushed the tank and attempted to start her up. Note I did pour some oil down the bores prior to this and wound her over a few times hours before pulling the carbs. I also gave the plugs a clean up with the wire brush but all I got was a few backfires. Pulled the plugs again,soaked, dried them off and tried again. Another backfire and a flat jump pack. That's all for today.

    Bought some new plugs this morning and cranked the idle up on the carbs and she started first pop. Wont idle under 4-5k rpm though as the fuel tap needs a rebuild kit(fuel still flows when the not under vacume). Gonna take a couple weeks to get that one in. Stoked that she runs well and revs cleanly to redline, got it up to temperature and everything seems to be ok.

    In the mean time I'll strip the front and rear brakes into the ultrasonic cleaner and wait for the rebuild kits to arrive. It's a shame the previous owner let the brake fluid run down from the master cylinder all over the fairing :( I'll also do coolant flush and oil change.

    Finally got to spend an hour on this one tonight. Drained the tank and rebuilt the fuel tap. Fitted a new front master cylinder and flushed/bled the front brake. Got the rear master cylinder disassembled but ran out of time to get it back together,who knows what fluid they'd been using in it but it wasn't dot 3! Once I get that sorted its time for oil and oil filter and a few laps of the block before I start any major works
