Thank's guy's , much appreciated. Bit more saving to do to get it on the road though . Really looking forward to actually riding it for the first time. It's a lot different to my old heavy bike , but the weight difference is going to make it interesting in maneuverability on the first outing.

Sorry for the very late reply , and thank's for the compliment. After the strip down , it took approximately close to a year to finish.Had a lot of help along the way to get the bike finished though.

How the bike is painted is a factory supplied colour scheme. I was never aware that the SRX 250's 51Y model's where released in four different colour schemes. I also picked this colour for safety sake , it should stand out on the road pretty well V's the other colour's.

Yep , the bike does look really nice , very pleased how turned out !. Thank's to the 2FIFTYCC forum member's assistance.

I'f it wasn't for a certain motorcycle decal guy stuffing me around i would have never known about these different colour schemes. OH , that remind's me , i should ring him (again) and cancel my order , well it's only been two year's and i'm still waiting for the decal set :fuckyou:.

    Hi To all
Well have another update on project SRX. It's registered :thumb_ups: , sorry for the crappy picture though. Still trying to work out how get the bike up the crusher dust driveway without getting dust over the bike :headbang:. Anyone have a very long hallway rug :lolsign: ?

Go faster.... the dust wont catch you...lol
Just need the gate up the top to be open and no traffic coming on that bust highway :)

Well done buddy... the bike is a credit to your determination and passion to get it all correct. Now put the Brain bucket on as well as some warm clothes and start running her in.. those mongrel headaches will soon go away when you have the wind in your face again.

I'll just have to take it easy while heading up to the gate to keep the dust down. Iv'e already had to vacuum the engine already :headbang: , i sound like Ted Bullpitt off Kingswood country , that was a good show back in the day's. Member's will be reading this and think iv'e lost the plot !.

Thank's Andy for the compliment , more than happy how the bike turned out.It is a smart little bike to look at , hope it perform's as well as it look's. With a fresh engine it should go pretty well.Going to take off the rear foot peg mounting bracket's as there no pillion seat available while the seat cowl is fitted , this will clean up the back of the bike also.

The headaches just appear and knock's me around a fair bit , so i'll stay off the bike until my head is clear. I'd hate to dump the clutch and light the back wheel up , you know tyre smoking horsepower :p.

Welcome to the forum and good to see you here. Thank's Buddy, i'm very happy with how it turned out. Just a few more thing's that need to be done and it'll be finished. Just have to run the motor in , but it's just to dry / dusty / windy in my neck of the wood's.Plus i cant get the bike dirty either as i'm not a member either of the Dirty wheel club. I suppose i could join the elite club but , nah i like a clean bike thank you very much.:fuckyou:
