It's in Devonport, so if it hasn't sold before I go back to the mainland I might pop in and have a look at it if I get the time.

Wow...how do you describe that? I wonder what it sounds like with 4 into 4 straight through exhausts? Is that the (manual) fuel pump up the back near the keg?

And do you like the instant femoral artery removal feature in case of a head on collision.. just where the frame has been cut off...
That priming pump on the fuel line is a left over from his boating days by the looks of it... I do like his artistic touches of purple on the engine bolts...

I imagine if you were to show some of the best looking modern bikes to someone 30-50+ years ago, they'd think they look ridiculous. Fashions have context, and we can move towards certain trends that makes something look appealing. But those ones are poor workmanship and no hope of being called stylish.

What I cannot understand with these builds is why if you are 'bobbing' it to remove excess weight (and essential bits like airbox, mudguards, etc) do they put stupidly heavy oversize tyres on ??????

They misunderstood. They thought they heard "Form before Function".
That engine looks like it has just enough power to turn those wheels.
