    That is the one I have , the cut away diagram is a bit light on details when it comes to the gearbox selector and how it hangs together

    Had a quiet afternoon in the shed. So it was time to play with the ts, Engine is now back together , just need to clean up the head in the blaster and torque it down and replace the ugly old bolts which I forgot to order from Suzuki

    Little bit excited

    Edit - sorted out the wiring and I now have spark , just need to address a clutch issue before I try and start it

    Love the sound of that old girl. My brother had a TC185 & doubled me everywhere in the bush. Love the way you've worked your magic. Great looking bike! Can still even remember the smell...

    Kiffsta, do you mean Threebond engine conditioner. I have not used it .Do you soak the carb in it? Where can you buy it?

    I thought threebond have a carby cleaning product, too? Is it not as good?

    From their website, seems it is their engine conditioner product. No product called carb cleaner.specifically.
    Will try it. For $12 can't go wrong.

    That's the stuff we use for cleaning carbs and upper engine. This Vid isn't great, but it will give you an idea of what the product was designed for. It's the best product I've used for cleaning carbs ever!

    No, ha ha, I posted it and even I can't see it.
    Thanks kiffsta and frankster for advice on threebond carb cleaner. Received yesterday ( $11.21,free delivery to door) and carb parts being treated as I type.
