Strange thing is I checked the camera in the other cylinders and they were dry, but this one as you can see was quite wet

I only used like 3 little pumps of my oil squirt bottle, didn’t think to be to much maybe it was

still learning as I go

motor will come out regardless, and I’ll post some more in depth pics at a later date

but for the excercise and passing on results on here for anyone interested in one of these and their current resolution will hopefully answer a few questions for some

Too keen for me, I'd try running the motor in the hope that the heat would release the rings if they're stuck on the piston. Maybe a bit of penetrene in each chamber, too.

 

I reckon, and some will disagree, that the standard air box, on a road bike that’s not going to the race track or the local racer road and run at 10 10/ths, is generally the best option. The guys at the factory knew a heap of stuff and had access to mountains of factory data. They knew that engine efficiency, maximum power, and what the bikes seat of the pants first impressions were, was a fairly complex balancing act. Getting a motor to have maximum low and mid range grunt and maximum high rpm horsepower is extremely difficult with pod filters.. also, I’ve noticed jetting requirements change markedly between a freshly oiled KnN and the same KnN once it’s done a thousand ks and becomes slightly more porous. It’s also highly unlikely pods are as efficient at filtering dirt as a sealed, filtered air box. The upside of pod filters is they can give slightly more top end power. They also make carburettor removal way easier which is just as well as they are going to come off a heap of times getting jetting even close to perfect.

 

Hi to all.
My new fuel line and 2 x clamp's have arrived. The clamp's are very small , measuring I.D 6.81mm. The new clamp's have a lot of tension on them though , so will see what happen's when there fitted. I may still leave the drip container under the carb's just to make sure.I really don't want any more damage paint work. Went through a box of tissue's on the last fuel leak , so i don't want any more.

Ahhhhhgggghg!!!!!!! Ordered some Spada needle n seats from Melbourne on the 1/7/2020...... Aus post lost them..... tracking still saying they are “delayed” !!!!! Launched an enquiry , They arrived yesterday..... tracking still saying they are delayed..... Suppose I should just be happy they have arrived.

 

I recently bought a couple of bearings from Florida, 2 weeks & I had 'em in my quarantine station
2 days later, the online tracking said they had arrived in Sydney, the weakest link regarding international shipping, is Aust Post
