How many turns did you miss? Making the trip a bit longer..

Ha. Yes a slightly longer trip. Lots of practice launches from traffic lights. Lots of revs and slipping the clutch.:dance2: They go reasonably well (for a 250) when you give them some beans.

Got to fiddle with one of these today , pretty cool little smoker , his Mate played with his carbs and it was now running on one , he had adjusted the balance screw to one side , some people shouldn’t own tools or be allowed to work on bikes

Finally got around to painting the SL125 Frame, swingarm, footrest bracket, rear brake pedal, bash plate etc.. Used a 2K Satin black Chassis paint.. seems to have come out ok. First time really using 2K so all up I am pleased.
3 coats and then let it bake a bit in the sun.
While I was waiting I started cleaning up engine cases....geez they get dirty and so many small crevices to get dirt and grim out of. Will take pics tomorrow and add them to the Build thread.

Rattle can or spray gun... and did you use paint stripper to get back to bare metal?? You must have plenty of patience.

Rattle can mate, VHT Roll Bar, and yeah paint stripper and lots of sanding and beer, I was going to get it shot blasted and powder coated but I'm glad I went this way, the finish looks great and there is no better feeling of spraying the black paint over primer when you prepped it all ha ha ha, im gonna leave it a while and then give it some clear coat

@my67xr any progress on install and where to post info..i've got some basic settings for the gsxr..went through with the purchase of the LM2 and whilst the wallet has since closed(!), before it did, I managed to get hold of the LC2 to leave everything in place..pilots by ear, max even idle lean rpm then went with a feed off the coil and a secondary tach to fine tune..surprised with the results as its better running afr between 12-13 and lambda down in the 0.8-0.9 range as oppossed to the stock settings..hoping to bolt the fcr's back on this week for a comparison..will try and upload a pic of where 'stock' is..si

2AE5C7E8-DF15-4FB8-BBED-9F573F22FB79.jpeg I sold my cbx and decided it was time to buy something modern and reliable , I wanted a Ducati or a MV Augusta , but was warned of numerous electrical gremlins.

I was checking Facebook on Friday and spotted a zx10r being sold by an old work mate , I called him up and bought it as is where is

I picked it up Saturday and managed a 10 min ride between the storms , all I can say is how the **** are these thing legal ? Omg . 175 horsepower is just nuts .

Hmmmm. I think we might have to start a "not so 250" thread.:dance2::dance2::dance2::dance2:

Imagine what one of the latest batch of rockets (over 200bhp) would feel like!!!!

Hmmmm Kiffsta, the CBX would have been more comfortable. A Kawasaki in blue- that's novel. You will need your trade prices on tyres methinks.

Save yourself time and money and just go to the nearest cop station and give them your licence.
