    And, we're off...

Seems like Yamaha might give Kawasaki and Ducati a scare. I think Razgatlioglu is a future champ and 2021 might be his first. Plenty of other interesting bike/rider combos including Chaz on a private Ducati and looking fast. This year might see an end to the Kawasaki/Rea domination, but it's only round 1 and we haven't even got qualifying done yet.

We can only hope .... gets to be a bit of a yawnathon after this long

I watched the "season preview" last night and looks to be some good rider/bike combos

Honda ? .... what have they done? ... nothing , zero .... same riders and as Bautista said "its the same bike as last year " .... that will win u a championship ... not .... they must have sent all their budget to the Marq Marquez 'home care and rehab' fund

Hopefully this bloke can take it up just another notch and keep Rea in the gravel .... and Rinaldi was outstanding last year as well

    ducs.jpg

Be interesting to see how this machine performs in the 2021 British Supersport championship .... they are changing the world supersports criteria I believe to open it up to more manufacturers/engine sizes

Yeah, I watched the same show. I'm looking forward the the races to see how quick everyone actually is. I occasionally watch the Supersport and Supersport300 races if it's an 'off' weekend for Motogp, so I'll be a bit wiser by Monday.

Yep, on the face of it Kawasaki and Rea are still the team to beat. But, I did enjoy watching Razgatlioglu carve his way up to 2nd before ultimately finishing 3rd. Superpole race this morning was much the same.

Round 2 was last weekend and much the same as Round 1... Rea won 2 races and Reading the other.

Points race has daylight between Rea and the rest of the field...

Good win for Rinaldi/Ducati after an MM save for Rea in Misano race 1

Yes, good win. At least Rea is honest about it...

Hopefully, Razgatlioglu can keep pace with Rea and make it a closer title race.

Another good race to finish round 3. I like the WSBK format of 2 feature races and a sprint race each weekend. Plenty of racing. Weather and tyres seem to add more variety into the mix. Rinaldi had a stonking weekend for Ducati. He came into the weekend on 25 points!

Yep, I often think we (you) should post the 300SSP races for Murdo (and others) to watch. Those youngsters are crazy! And, I love how the odd rider has a famous surname. The Supersport class needs a few more manufacturers to make it interesting for variety, but the racing is top notch. This year, the racing has been close across all the classes. No-one (not even Rea) has checked out. Good to have the WSBK on a 'nothing on' weekend. Gives me a chance to watch Kawasaki bikes in multiple classes. I like Rea, but I'm kinda hoping Toprak takes the title in the 'big boy pants' class. It's odd that Suzuki only have a single team in MotoGP and zip in WSBK. I seem to recall Troy Corser winning the championship on a Suzuki a lifetime ago.

WSBK in the UK this weekend. Toprak's start in race 1 is unreal. Particularly, when you see Rea trying very hard to throw himself and his bike into the shrubbery!

Yes, he's doing very well, even with Rea gifting him the lead. Interesting that Reading says the Ducati is a difficult bike to ride in that it goes well at some circuits and rubbish at others. It kinda reminds me of Bautista's season on the Ducati. He went from hero to zero once he lost confidence in the bike. It was good to see both the BMW riders doing well. Sykes has won here so many times I guess he could ride it with his eyes closed!

Toprak always looks like he's about to bin it, but he never does. It's easy to admire a talented rider like him. Especially, since he doesn't play any mind games or ride dirty. Supremely confident young man (IMO).

Yep, and Kawasaki threw him away by not letting him ride in the Suzuka 8hr.
