You would have to be happy with those figures, have no idea what the figures x factory were but 110hp seemed very reasonable.
Went for a ride to the Blue Mountains today and ended up exploring some gravel roads on the CB250. The views from a place called Anvil Rock couldn't be done justice with a photo so I decided to stop at Wentworth Falls on the way back and took this:
I really should stop on these mountains I ride over and get some pictures. Cause dam that's a nice picture.
When I had my previous bikes (Suzuki 1100's and a 1400) it was all about riding as quick as possible and blasting past everything- now that blasting isn't an option I've just relaxed and started seeing all the things I missed.
My problem is it's been a few years since I have been on a bike. So now I'm back on 2 wheels I don't want to stop. Lol. Just loving it at the moment.
got my track bike running!!!! all 4 are firing and the carbies are clean all she really needs now is new float needles and bigger jets!
Tested four reg/rectifiers including the one that was on Scarlet. All way out of spec on at least one reverse resistance and my only working Ohmmeter isn't sensitive enough to check the normal current flow resistance.Ended up ordering a new aftermarket one, Attempted to charge Scarlet's battery but didn't leave it on the trickle charger long enough. Discovered a leaking petcock on her tank that was smaller than the other two so couldn't be swapped without swapping the whole tank. Discovered I was right about the in-tank fuel filter being full of crud too, so swapped the tank for one of the other ones. Will have to clean her carburetor and rebuild another one soon at this rate!
always a repair on an older bike. have ordered disc caliper seals for bruiser the cruiser from pommyland as cheaper than the local bike shop.
This morning I put the baffle into the slip on just to see if that cleaned up the rev range abit, it did! However, it now sounds boring as lol
Just checked bank and my race licence fee has been taken out so I guess it on way to me starting to get little but more real my race debut in nov lol
Hildegarde has performed so well the past 500km so I treated her to new spark plugs, new oil filter and oil(air filter wasn't even dirty)... I actually went for 20w50 due to the weather heating up.. got a full mineral DIESEL high performance oil.. which is recommended for motorbikes too...I did how ever spill some oil on the headers when i was changer the filter...so will have a nice burning oil smell on the way to work tomorrow..
Brought Hildegarde a new fuel tap/petcock (which ever you want to call it) in the hopes it will stop the fuel leak..
Went to replace the tap... Strangest thing.... The tap unscrewed with barely any pressure from me trying to wiggle the fuel hose off....GGGGGRRRR $90 wasted..
