I have posted plenty of carbs, just make sure they are dry with no smell of fuel, and wrap well. If anybody asks they are spare parts.

Of course you can, just make certain all the fuel is out before you wrap it up.
I always used bubble wrap and packing tape, reason being satchels get thrown around a bit, just protecting the goods.

Carbs may weigh a little over 3kg though. A 5kg satchel may be appropriate.

no probs with putting in the mail, even engines can go in the mail/via air. use to do these little petrol powered drills all the time and just put a cap full of diesel in it and pump it a couple times and it becomes non dg.

will check tonight for you mate.... I'm still not 100% sure that the forks are straight.. I have been given ideas as to how to check, but without paying a lot of $$$ for a pro to do it with the right tools, Unless someone in QLD has V blocks and a meter gauge I could use.. but if I do that the forks would come separated and you will need to get the seals sorted...
