So I am new to riding up here in QLD and so far have only ventured up Mount Cootha, Mt Nebo, and Mt Tamborine.

Interested to know what are your favourite bits of bitumen.

Today I'll be heading to Canungra for the first time. See you all out there!

@kiffsta I hear that is also a great place, haven't heard of Obi Obi Road, when I bothered to travel that far I'll give it a crack.

@Th3_Huntsman Don't think so, I do live in the Logan area, so you might have seen me before. I do pass through Beenleigh to get to Mt Tamborine.

Springbrook nation park, Tomewin, Chillingham and Burringbar range are all my local rides. Nice views too at Springbrook plus perfect place to have picnics at the many water falls or visit the glow worms.

In NSW... The Royal National Park is one, Macquarie Pass is another. Have not ridden Putty Road or the Old Pacific Hwy yet.

Quite good but I would do a normal speed run to check out the condition before hitting it with speed. Iv got friends on Gsxr 1000s that hit the place most weekends and they fly!

You have to go pose at the Mt Glorious cafe on a weekend. That's a given. I quite like the Mt Tamborine - Canungra - Beechmont - Numinbah Valley - Murwillumbah ride. Coming back through Kyogle and the Lions Road is good but ends up a really long day.

Thats a great site, I'll give that a go @Darren.

Just got back from my ride, when i got to Canungra I decided to go through Beechmont Rd and ended up in Nerang and that was great, saw probably 5 Motorcycle Police on Beechmont road alone! Luckily I was following a couple on a cruiser and they were sticking to the speed limit.

The Beechmont loop was always a favourite of mine. Mainly because it was 5min away. It's pretty tight which helps keep my friends together. They all ride bigger bikes so the less long straights is good news for me.

Way too many casualties on lower beechmont road, police will be over it like hot cakes. I also know the locals are feed up with bikes flying thru there

Yeah also the 60km speed limit makes it a little boring, quite enjoyed the 80-90km speed limit of beaudesert-nerang rd from canungra to nerang.

Vic roads are typically flat and boring but Mt Dandenong will be a go as soon as my bike's back on the road. Great ocean road would be a great ride if it wasn't for stupid bus drivers and insane traffic. Arthur's seat is on my list, and there are some nice twisties up kinglake way I've been meaning to explore.
