    Tamworth’s Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) will transform into a spectacular showcase of speedway racing when the 2015 New South Wales Open Senior Solo Speedway Championship rolls into town from December 11-12.

    Speedway is insane stuff ..... years ago they had 'Long Track' here a couple of times at the old showground track and it was great to watch ..... this town stinks for big event stuff of any kind ... except bullshite country music and friggin horses.

    Tamworth dirt track is where Casey Stoner started out ..... #166 racing at a TMCC Meeting at Tamworth showground in 1994

    Yea that was near the end ..... maybe twice as many at the start of the night.

    great looking facilities, although the side wall doesn't look like fun if you hit it.

    Yea its a horse arena .... massive complex ..... my first comment when we got there was the wall also .... concrete aint soft.
    It is angled 'outward ' though ..... being a horse venue u think a few bales of hay around the perimeter would have been easy enough to do.

    There was plenty of slide outs and spins etc but only 1 guy directly hit the wall ..... I dont think he was injured at all but he was certainly staggering.
