The drag racing is held at the Gunnedah aerodrome 3Km north of the town (Gunnedah 78Km west of Tamworth) over two days. It is only 1/8th mile (205me) and you get a time slip with speed/reaction/incremental/elapsed time for every run. Saturday is practice with plenty of runs, Sunday final practice then eliminations with presentation at end of day. The next date is 6 & 7th of December. Anyone interested, maybe we could get a group together to run. Cost is $95.00 for the two days.
This event is run as a friendly fun event with NO 'big city' attitudes, just bring whatever you've got and we will find a spot for you to run with others of similar speed/times. We always have a few from Sydney and Brisbane turn up. Plenty of accommodation in town, Saturday night get together/dinner and food van at event.

I have ordered good weather for the weekend, a little cool in mornings to lovely moderate temps during the day. Hope that suits you all!

I hope you all have a great time, unfortunately both my bikes aren't up for the journey ATM (I also think the rider is a tad inexperienced for the 7 hour journey alone) I will definately try my best to make the next one!

Right hand turn with the road banked to the left. It tightened up and I thought I couldn't make the turn, so I started to slow down, get upright, and on the brakes. Fell to the right as soon as the road went to gravel. I was behind filming with the go pro. Had done the route twice already today! Third time not so lucky!

Damage report includes grazed knee & hip, and a sore back. Otherwise fine. Beer will help.

We straightened up the handlebar that I just replaced (D'oh!) and put a cheap shitty indicator on (the right side one, this will make it the third time I've repalced it!! Triple D'oh!!!)

Dad saw me fall off and get back up, he tried to turn around. Should have known that the Hyosung can't do U turns!

I will be up for a new helmet, indicator, kevlar jeans (these ones did their job but I still got a graze) & probably gloves too

Jeez fellas that's no good :( glad to hear no one is tooooo hurt. Nothing wrong with a bruised ego. Downing a few ice cold beverages helps with that.
