    "The 1951 TWN BDG 250 was powered by a 248 CC Split Case single twin cylinder air cooled motor. A split case single used two pistons and jugs with a single forked rod and a single head and firing chamber. It produced 12 HP and had a reported top speed of 68 MPH."     Looks like triumph germany split off and became "TWN" before disappearing after a merger in 1956. Very curious bike for sure.

    Any frame mods mean it has to have engineers certificate to be registered in NSW. And there are so many other things that insurance companies would just love to reject a claim for that I would not want a learner rider to be anywhere near it.

    Yes, @kiffsta is correct. It is me that wants those 2 bikes. However, that one is far from collectible and a non-runner. That custom rear end assembly and the seller rabbiting on about none have ever changed hands in Australia leads me to think there's quite a bit of BS in this sale. I'll "watch" it and see what it goes for.

    For anyone interested, I can get my hands on a 1986? Kawasaki z250 (close to a basket case) for a carton from a club member. He just wants it out of his shed but it is pretty rough, he says everything is there except the muffler and a couple of easier to source bits. PM me if you're keen, it's down Frankston way. Both Frank and I don't have the space or time but I can help out for some fuel money and hold for a very short period of time if required. Let me know.

    I have no idea on motor condition or anything like that, nor do I have info on when it was last run or even if it runs... doubt the club member does either... but for a carton of beer I reckon it's worth a gamble for someone perhaps.
