Are you lining up the bottom corner first?

Big thumbs up to the Litetek gasket kit. Everything was an exact fit and likely was a big contributor to my successful rebuild.

Thanks - doing that first was the ticket.

I need to replace the battery in my 1986 FRZR250 - the Yamaha replacement is GM10-3A-2. As these are pricey I would like to find an aftermarket alternative but am having difficulty finding one the same dimensions (L135mm x W90mm x H145mm).
It would be appreciated if you could let me know what batteries have been found that do the job.

    I'm pretty sure the GM10-3A-2 battery 135mm L, 90mm W, 145mm H, is the equivalent to the 12N10-3A-1, 12N10-3B, 12N11-3A, 12N11-3A-1, 12N11-3B, CB10L-A2, CB10L-B, GB10L-A2, YT10L-S
    Try Yuasa battery's,

Do you have SSB battery's there?
I bought a SSB Powersport drycell battery an RB10L-A2 for my FZR250R 3LN3,
it has 235cca which is about 30% more than the standard battery and is the same dimension's as you've listed, it cost me about $65 from memory.

Thanks for the info! We don't have SSB here but was able to order the right size of a standard battery from Fortnine.

Goodo, sorry about the shipping to Canada debacle. One of my Canadian customers wanted to take the risk and try regular shipping and now we are counting the days. Meanwhile one NZ customer just set a new record, 6 days.

No problem. As you know I had the kit shipped to one of my wife's good friends in Washington State, USA. Unfortunately it stayed in her purse for 3 weeks before being forwarded to me. I wonder if she has some connection to Canada Post? :)
