    $500 is usually the maximum not-running price, because you don't know what the gearbox is like or anything about the motor - it is just guessing that the carbies need cleaning. You're buying what it's worth without an engine. Or show them redbook valuing the fzr at $300.

    I had already posted this one.. :) It would be a great little project for the $$. Why do these good "projects" all seem to be a long way from Sydney...lol

    Yeah not too much power there, especially comparing it to the GP500 2T's in the late 90's making around 200hp

    It's not a lot nowadays but back then at a relatively, for the time, low weight on that suspension and skinny tyres - they were nicknamed widow makers - here comes the powerband

    That one looks to be a quite reasonable bike for the $$. Depends on the overheating issue they had on rear cylinders but it looks well cared for.. although looks can be deceiving...
