Hey I know this is a two year old thread, but did you restore the Bike or what? these little singles were awesome, the only one at its time with the other makes competitors that was water cooled.

    Anyone here got one?

They are a great, light (118kg) fun bike to ride
I have 3 runners plus a dismantled one so have some experience with them and owned one in the early nineties.
I love them and think that they are a much perkier bike than an equivalent Honda or Yamaha from that period.
However they did not sell in large numbers and are rarely seen now, even at classic rallies.
The parts situation is tenuous and if you use it as a daily ride, then when it stops, you will have a problem sourcing parts.
Two of mine have a failure of the sprag clutch for the starter motor and I'm not sure how to repair this, since they seem to be different from other S/clutches that I've seen.
I have the BIKE initial road test which was very complimentary.
