3 different size screens are available for the FZR250

Ensure you are buying the correct one as many sellers advertise a generic 'one size fits all' product

The 3LN1 vs the later models are very close to look at and in size but cannot be interchanged as the headlight cowling is a different shape/size

The 2KR/3HX has no cutouts at the front or for the mirror mounts

Factory spare parts list is also incorrect , only listing 1 screen to fit all 3LN models

The part number for the original windscreen also changed from 3LN-28381-10 to 3LNY288110 which is also no longer available from Yamaha

I've bought 3x off ebay, 1 arrived broken, 1 arrived and it was for a 3LN1, and 1 was the correct 3LN3 windscreen (which i broke a month later)
There' doesn't seem to be a lot listed on ebay anymore
I would copy the diagram above and get them to check the measurement's to confirm it's for a 3LN1

Do you still have the 3ln1 windscreen?
I can only find windscreens on eBay in the 2kr style

Yea they come and go on ebay and Aliexpress .... u just have to keep checking

I bought a cheap China one on ebay about 6 years ago and its only just now looking ragged and crazed after spending the last summer out in 50° heat every day .... so I need x2 for the 3LN1 drag bike also

So I have found this guy on the inter webs, according to his website he makes screens to suit all fzr250’s and he is local!. I’m not sure on price and availability just yet, I have sent him an email and am waiting a response.

At least they list 3 different screens ... not totally accurate with model years but closer than most

Top price I think from memory ... but made by them in Australia going by their blurb

    FZR 250 3LN-1 89-90

    FZR 250 3LN-3 91-97

I've just purchased one from Eagle Screens in Western Australia. The screen arrived safe and sound, and is the exact fit for my 3LN6 (Y-12).
    Can't recommend them highly enough.

Standard screens are $100 plus post
The screens with a windlip are $125 plus post

Guessing the windlip is similar to this, with a thicker raised section at the back
