As the title suggests i'm looking at another bike today.
    It's a 1985 Yamaha RZR250RN ?
Has done a few km's, 84,000km's, and it has earlier fairings fitted or possibly painted to look like earlier ones,
but is complete and running, and rego recently ran out.

I don't have a lot of details on it atm, but is there anything major to look out for?

I've downloaded a vin identification chart so will check that against the bikes numbers
    20190423_191149.jpg

    And any idea on values?
paint etc looks ok but i can sort out the cosmetics easy enough

@Stubanger he was in Reynella, sort of behind Westpac near Southgate Plaza shopping centre,
he had another 20 bike's he was wanting to sell too. Mostly older bike like GSXR400, GSXR750, GSXR1100 x2, Honda CT70, MX100, TF100 dual range AG, IT175, DT175, etc etc

I could have got that RZ for under $2000 i reckon, but it needed a lot of work to be able to use it as a daily.
Most of the fairing's were cracked and had been repaired with fibreglass etc, exhaust's were pretty dented, radiator had no fin's between the core's, all the alloy was oxidised, tyre's cracked etc

Interesting! I wonder how much he'd be after for the lot or if they're all going on eBay? I've started wrecking a lot of bikes lately.

Yeah i checked out ebay and gumtree for current price's etc.
I don't have the money or space atm to be able to strip it down and rebuild it like it deserved.
Was hoping it could have been registered and ridden as it is, without spending a lot of money on it.
To get it looking like that last RZ250 i would have spent around $2000 on it
So nah i haven't really been looking, i've decided to wait a while as i have too many other project bike's that i need to fix up and/or sell first

Wow , asking over 11k for. Rd350lc and a rz350 Kenny , that is pretty rich , but as they say, a fool and his money is easy parted, now to find the fool.

I’m not sure they will get close to those prices , even as clean and as tidy as they are.
