The twin leading shoes work very well when set up properly, but will still fade if given a big workout.

Yeah, they take some getting used to, I got a call from my son today asking me to get him from school as it it was raining, so at 3pm I headed up on the t500, his face was priceless when I rolled up. I bet that will be the last time he complains about my van :)

24A7D9CE-1E8A-4F99-B60F-5E6EE0CCF805.jpeg Well, a customer dropped by who used to be a spray painter and he said he’d be happy to paint my ts185 , I casually asked how much to do both bikes and was pleasantly surprised at his price , the t500 is finally getting a the paint job it deserves

    Bloody excited

He just sent me a pic of the tank as he removes the bog

Replaced my oil pump (one of the mounts was broken) and lines to try and stem some of oil leaks from the old lines , I picked up a pump off Jauce for $10 when I was quoted $300 from a wrecker in Australia

I also fitted up my freshly painted oil tank and side cover , photos are a bit dark, but she looks hot out in the sun , tank should be back on Tuesday

I have been pretty crook for the past 3 weeks so the last thing I wanted to do is go home from work and play with bikes .

I finally got out into the garage today and fitted my new carb boots and fired her up.
I haven’t ridden it since it was stripped and painted so today’s test ride was grouse. The pinging has gone from the right hand pot and she has picked up a few extra ponies.

Might try for a bigger ride next weekend if I get Over this cold

Good news, pinging on a two stroke is really bad, as you probably know.

After my last ride I noticed no oil down the rh side oil lines So we pulled her back apart , the replacement line I fitted had cracked , old one back on and we are good

My badges arrived and have been fitted so she is now pretty much complete ,’I need a Suzuki motor co sticker and a cci sticker for the oil tank , I will cut them on the vinyl cutter when time permits
