the one you have put the link to is for the japanese police model and not the general export model.

Just had a chance to check Silvers UK site and while the K4 is Temp out of Stock they do show the G5 mufflers in stock. Main difference will be they are slightly Upswept rather than straight.
    https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/CB250G5/part_308268/
That is in addition to the Police style pipes and mufflers shown above...

have rung staintune but they are in rundown mode to sell premises and business and are down to 3 staff and contacted barry bligh at overlander in victotoria who may have the templates and the mufflers are on his list. waiting to see if he can find his forming dies.

I have a certain amount of second hand bits for the SRX. Let me know if you need anything and I will check what I have.
There is a manual in resources as well

99 out of 100 scrambler builds look like regular bikes with a stack of Chinese bolts ons bought from third gear.com.au , and are generally butt ugly.

I am quite impressed how he used the paint to accent the body work and the spoked wheels and fork gators are a nice touch. . I think it is a pretty cool take on a retro scrambler

I am with @GreyImport ... the rear pipes look stupid (way too big) and not practical as even a street scrambler with the ground clearance... Still each to their own I guess.

found a pair of cb250 k0 mufflers which appear the same as k4. will buff and use temporarily until david silver has aftermarket back in stock.

Rode from Sydney to Tamworth yesterday... number plate fell off somewhere along the way. No idea how I didn't get pulled over or flashed/honked about it. Lucky I was behaving myself.

Gave the SRX250 a good wash/going over and went for a 200km ride. Everything went well, rear drum brake surprised me! Carb needs attention in the near future as she breaks up a bit north of 100.

Bike look's very neat for it's age !. Nice pictures by the way :thumb_ups: .It's pretty cool to see another SRX 250 on the forum and particularly one that is registered.Time to hang my head in shame :( , but wont be long until mine is registered. Is the bike on normal rego OR on historic rego ?.

Thanks @2valve I'm already caught up on your resto and @Andych build threads, they're both awesome!

Mines on standard rego for 3 months. Then I think I'll pull it to bits and return it to factory specs, nothing like yours or Andy's,just stock. Then I'll be looking at historic rego(I have many bikes I need to get historic rego for, just need to workout the procedure) I think it spent a lot of time near the beach, the frame is quite rusty(hard to tell in the pics)

I like riding the thing that much I may just keep riding it until that engine gets too tired before doing a resto, the suspension is in great condition which helps a lot. Also started on a diet to make this one and my other small displacement bikes go faster!
