Received my grab tail back from chromers today, very happy with the finish. This was first time getting something chromed,
Not sure if $100 is a good price or not ?

It is the little things like this that make the bike that little bit more complete ,
Next chrome item is the headlight bowl

Have you thought about getting into Chroming (parts, not your nose)?

Under current environmental laws you probably need a nuclear recycling plant before you can operate your chrome plating business.

We are setting up for Zinc plating, looked at nickel plating, too. They get close to chrome...

Shane, why don't you do a thread on the whole exercise? Cost, materials, do's and don'ts?

$100 is a good price to rechrome that grab rail

Spotted a small oil leak on the t500 :)

Seems my replacement oil pump bleed bolt let go , they are opposite thread so the previous owner must have stripped the threads and on her last ride it popped out spilling Castrol TTS all over the floor. ( that stuff is dear as )

Old pump is back on now , ahhhh the joys of it all . After the trials and tribulations of this old girl, I think I should buy a fzr250 ,
    Much less work.

Just a tiny little setback. Yes, our old bikes have a lot of problems, but how many of those are caused by previous owners?
