    Hey All

Have an RZ250 and a CB250RS. Am working on the RS currently. Used to have one in the day and have had this one for about 3 years sitting under a tarp waiting for time to get it up to speed. Now is the time! It runs really nicely just cosmetic stuff to fix - only has 15k. The RZ has been restored previously and is running OK. The oil pump has been sent off to Gary in the UK for a rebuild as the bike is very smokey. Will clean up the carbs and should be good to go.
In SA both these bikes can be registered on Classic rego so that's what I'll do. Anyone know a good bike club here in Adelaide to join to get that happening?
I'll post some pics once I get the CB back together.

:welcome: Thirsty. Please do post some pictures , i'd like to see both of them.
I have a really old bike magazine with the RZ 250 v's the KR250 and the RG250. The heading in the magazine is called: The firecrackers , which is the best banger ?.

So I’ve almost got the Cb ready for club rego. I’m now a member of vjmc and have made contact with them so once I get my oil pump for the rain back from Arrow I’ll get the guy around and get both bikes registered. I’ve only got to check the valve clearances and change the oil on the Cb and it’s ready to go. I’ve cleaned it up a lot, serviced the forks with new seals and packed the straight through muffler with stainless scourers so much quieter now. I’ll take a few photos tomorrow and post them of the Cb.

It’s been over a year but hers finally are some photos of my rz250. This bike was restored by the previous owner but it was a long time ago. I’ve had to clean it up and rebuild the carbs, put a new petcock on and a few other things. Goes very nicely now.

It's an old post regarding the Honda picture's , but it good to see updates with your bike's. I like the RS though , there a cool looking bike. Have a road test in a magazine somewhere , i'll have to have a look for it.

I've actually sold the RS now - guy made me an offer I couldn't refuse :) I'm riding the RZ all over the place at present and having a lot of fun - I ride a Blackbird daily so it's a nice change to be on something light and small.

The offer that was made on the RS must have been pretty good for you to let it go. The RS's are getting hard to find that haven't been destroyed.
I can understand you enjoying the weight difference / riding the RZ over the Blackbird. My SRX is so light over my old heavy road bike , less input needed in all aspect's of riding the bike. When the new tyres go on , i think it's going to handle even better than at the moment.
