I think I'd like to build my new VTR project into something like this. Anyone have any ideas where the tail piece/seat and bellypan may have been sourced from? 67288117_738864566551369_7899976794270796139_n.jpg 67667299_156020268915092_784358799675637514_n.jpg 44847249_440168809845463_1808177600758663765_n.jpg

No idea where they're sourced from, but when you find out let us all know. Looks great.

Seat looks very MV Agusta-ish to me. They had the clearance underneath for the 4 exhausts.
A nice effort I might add. Setting up spoked wheels and all the other details is not easy.

    That looks really cool.
We would all love to hear how you progress with your build.

That belly pan looks like it might have been cut from the lower fairing section of a larger bike.

I think the tail is from a Daytona 675, mixed with something else...

The tail looks like CBR1000RR 2008, the belly pan looks familiar, but couldn't find it. The bike looks good, except the front needs some fairings. I prefer the gold alloy wheels in the third pic.

AAC9641F-6AB3-493B-8051-FD7E9B50252C.jpeg Yep,, much done, The best thing was I used paint stripper on the wheels, thinking the gold annodised finish that I knew was below the matt black a previous owner had destroyed them with. I did a paint stripper test on an old wheel I had lying around and it didnt affect it. I went ahead and the black came off easily but to my horror the gold also started lifting.. Once removed all the paint there was a beautiful polished alloy and annodised white finish on them that with a bit of cleaning and a polish came up looking fantastic.. Just gotta paint the tank/mudguard/tail piece and shes nearly done.. I'm going more standard than previously considered though.. I reckon the riding position on most of thes lil honda 250s is just about perfect and even small changes cand totally wreck them as usable vehicles

VFR750 pearl white would go with those wheels.

Keep going with your dream of the pics you posted of someones build, there are a heap of good quality after market custom parts available on the likes of Ali Baba, Ali Express & ebay.
