I will be buying another large bike cover, my 2yo Aldi cover has lost most of its' clear seam waterproofing tape, and the rear clear panel has fallen apart.

Picked up two helmets, a jacket, and a pair of their armoured jeans.
I've seen their helmets crash tested in person, my son wrote off three of them. If they fit your head they're as safe as any brand out there. Same with the leather jacket. He crashed hard enough to land his CB250 upside down, bend the frame, and crack the engine casing. Jacket performed as advertised and didn't even rupture any stitching. Same with the gloves.

So I've been rocking one of the new helmets and a leather jacket since the first day of the sale.
Pretty impressed. The helmet isn't the pinnacle of design, but it's comfortable enough and certainly value for money with the full standards compliance. The jacket seems heavy but it's solid and the armour seems to stay where it should be on my frame. It's a little warmer than expected if anything. Combined with a neck sock it makes a good winter jacket, though I think it might be a bit hot for local summer riding (40+C temperatures expected again this year where I am) especially when combined with the mid-layer top.
    Socks are a evergreen winner.
Haven't spent any time in the armoured jeans yet.
The elastic kidney belt was a bust, wait for the MX version. Still have mine from a few years ago and it's still good.

So, I was in Aldi the other day and saw they had motorcycle helmets for $49.95 or whatever. I didn't look into much, but the wind noise on my current one is getting a little painful. I don't want use my good helmet, I might have an accident and damage it! The helmet I have is a little smelly and the soft bits are worn, with some trim missing. So, my long-winded question is: are they any good? I don't need the lecture on "your helmet is the most important piece of safety gear, you shouldn't cheap on that." I'm not an ATGATT guy, I'm more a OTGIHT guy - only the gear I have to. The Question is will it handle daily use and probable misuse, or do bits fall off? Is noise muffled well? Do the vents work? Have you owned one?

I bought an Aldi helmet for my grandson No2 and they look to be well made (they have to pass the standards test) and are a very close copy to my $350 HJC. I would be happy to wear one.
Most makers say you should replace helmets every five years (but they are selling them) and ANDRA and CAMS will not allow you to use helmets over 10 years old and I cannot find any ADR rules on helmet age, just on condition.

There is an Australian website called CRASH.. https://crash.org.au/ . These people do independent testing of many helmets on the Australian market. They dispel much of the bullshit and marketing "facts" disseminated by helmet retailers and put to bed forever the myth that "if you have a $10 head wear a $10 helmet.." some over $1000 helmets actually perform relatively poorly ! They also test for the types of impact you are actually likely to encounter in a bike get off, the capacity of the helmet to twist the neck, as well as the quietness, comfort, vision imparment and water resistance, (not a big issue atm). Cant recommend this site highly enough.. Convinced me to move from Shoei to Bell after many many years of brand loyalty.

I couldn't resist the leather jacket when it was discounted to $69.95 a couple of weeks ago. I saw them in a couple of different Aldi stores and was pleasantly surprised to find my size was available.

I managed to get a Tank Mini bag which I will use with the Tiger Sport, when it arrives shortly and when I can figure out some straps to secure it... grabbed a pair of sox (more like leggings) and a base layer top as well although weather is slowly warming up down here.
