Does anyone have a picture of the bracket used to attach the choke handle assembly to the frame of a TZR 250 1kt/2ma please, or what Yamaha calls it, or a part number?.
I have been going over the online parts catalogue for ages and I can't find the bracket in the catalogue, doesn't help that I have nfi what to look for lol.

    Thank you in advance.

    Cris

Yep, that is one. Thank you. I need a photo of it as mine seems to have gone missing and I now need to put feelers out to purchase another one.

Both of these listings contain the original-style bracket - certainly not cheap though:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamaha-...550583?hash=item34080082b7:g:l7kAAOSwDLtcp2Kk

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamaha-...373457?hash=item48cce79191:g:iOQAAOSwk8xdFH-5

If you are willing to mount the choke lever assembly somewhere else, it would be very easy to make a bracket - it is effectively just a tubular spacer.
I don't recall having one of these brackets among my own spare parts, but will have a look when time allows.
Alternatively, there is a reasonable chance of finding one here: http://oldgoldmotorcycles.com.au/

Aren't you also a member of the TZR forum? Surely someone there will have spare, or know where to find one.

    Regards,
    James

I have a Venhill cable kit. But Mead Speed also sells cables for this.
