    Hi All,

I recently finished restoring my 1980 Jawa Yezdi B Type (250 CC Single cylinder twin exhaust) and 1994 Yamaha Rx100 (100 CC)
I happen to find an old engine of Honda CBX250 RS lying around in my friends garage.
I just acquired the Engine and dual carburetor. I can see a mammoth yet very very interesting project ahead. I just got hold of a service manual for the same. I plan to mount this engine on Bajaj Avanger or Honda CBZ. Let us see how far can I go. Will keep you all posted.

I am assuming this is Honda CBX 250 RS or RSE. Any help/guidance on how to proceed would be highly appreciated. I can see huge work ahead. I plan to mount this engine on Honda CBZ (India Model).

The engine number will tell you what exact year/model the engine is from.
Have you tried fitting the engine into the frame yet to see what needs to be made/modified to fit the engine? Make sure the chain alignment is correct with the rear sprocket before making engine mountings (if needed).

This engine turned out to be JC11 of Honda CBX125F. Work is in progress to find the matching CDI. It is planned to be mounted on Hero Honda Ambition bike's chasis.

However, a good news is i got hold of another Honda VT250FE imported into India. Its in working condition- except that the radiator/cooling system is nonfunctional.
