Hey guys, I am building a wrecked 91 3LN FZR250 into a Period 6 Historic Race bike for my son to start racing on. Does anyone in Australia make a fibreglass race fairing and seat for the littlest FZR? I can find any number of Chinese ABS Plastic ones, but you pretty much have to through them away after you crash. I would prefer fibreglass ones. if you know of anyone who does them locally, please let me know. cheers. Sweno
Welcome and good luck with the racing. Been a few people talk about failed bearings on cyl 4 when racing. Can't recall if it was big end or main. Anyway, I would run Amsoil in an attempt to stave off the issue, but that is just me.
Contact @fnq_fzr as he races a 3LN .... hes up that way also I think https://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/my-recent-changes-fzr-track-bike.2636/ Try these guys http://fairingsolutions.com.au/prod...els_id=96&yearfrom=1990&yearto=1991&keywords=
Jump onto the motorcycle sportsman of qld Facebook page and look for a guy called simon Dickson , he has fibreglass fairings, everyone uses them on mc22’s but I believe they originally moulded off fzr fairings , last time I bought some , they were $350 For a set
