That is the best looking model... that colour even tends to hide that Butt Ugly muffler... the big question is... Will it come to Aus?

When I rang Kawasaki corporate last year they said it wasn't coming here as it wasn't viable for the market. Whether that's changed or not, I don't know. I haven't bothered to ring them again and I bought my MT09SP :) But I'd love a ZX25R

Seems a little portly to me. Is the suspension adjustable? I have an R6 shock on the way for my ZXR250, as well as a digital dash, and some ZX7R brakes. I feel like once I get the engine rebuilt and tuned, There isn't going to be a lot of difference between them. Or maybe that is just because I love mine so much.

I have been looking into 3d printing an intake manifold for my bike, which would allow for fuel injection.

Maybe Suzuki could make a baby I4 version of one of these?

I do like the OH&S with the cut off saw... Patented Foot (in thongs) clamp arrangement is a nice touch by the "professionals" (as noted at the end of the video.
The bike does look to go nicely. Note he does say it will need a re-flash as the low end is now crap. No doubt he will get multiple fault lights with no Cat on it anymore.

Disappointing, considering earlier rumours were pointing towards that power figure as well.

Not encouraging me to consider upgrading from my 25+ year old 250 fours.
A modern 250 screamer with bags of power and tech would be fun!!! If you can not get one of these, then in Australia you would just step up in capacity. A high power 250 is unlikely to get LAMS approval. It would most likely fall into the same category as the RGV250.
I suppose in the target markets, it might be harder to sell a larger capacity bike due to regulatory issues.
I really can not see the zx25R being viable in Australia. Too expensive. Too many other alternatives.

If it's LAMS approved, it would be interesting if it could be tweaked - but there's already some sports bikes that fill that market segment, even their Ninja 400 is close in the power output department

Agree it won't likely make an appearance here

    188 kph in this vid.

Could it pull taller gearing, who knows? As myself and other posters have said we expected 50hp not 45. If you want a slug 250 you can buy the single or twin cylinder versions. Why waste money on a 4?

Since I posted the 400 dyno run after tweaking here is someone in Indonesia doing similar. Not 50% power gain, yet :)

He's on the right track also!

Now what are the other three Japanese OEM's going to do in response?
