    Let's say guy's in jail. What happens when he gets out and goes to get his bike and finds it gone? Wouldn't be hard to find out what happened to it. Then what?

    Well, not pinch it. Whatever legal way, you can certainly get it. But owner might not see it that way.

    Yamaha FZR250 speed bike, Yamaha YZ/WR250F, Kawasaki ZX2R, Honda VTR250, DR350 (x 3.5), a couple of prototypes and whatever else.
    Maybe try the owner of the industrial estate, if it is on private property then the owner of the property might have rights to enquire and that could start a conversation with the owner, through the police. Threatening to have it towed might start a ball rolling.
