    Hey Guys,

I am in the process of fixing up a Honda GB250 L. I have downloaded both the parts list for the GB250 and also the tech manual for the CBX250 both of great use.

I am trying to return the bike back to stock as it has had some aftermarket mods made to it which have not helped its cause

I am desperately in need of some images of other bike to make sure I am doing things right.

The 2 parts I need picture of are as follows:

The throttle cable run - to and from the carb. (in the CBX250 manual it shows it going down the left hand side of the bike then up and over. I was wondering if this was the same for a single carb. I currently have mine travelling down the left hand side.)

The electrics under the seat, the airbox was removed on mine and the electrics looks like spagetti. I am putting the original carb back on and airbox so I wanted to get an idea of how the electrics are organised on top.

Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Scott

Hi Scott and welcome ;) ....cant really help with pics as mine is fully sick modded :)
the throttle cables (2 of push/pull config) run down right side of the bike (sitting on it ) basically follows the clutch cable run...
There are plenty of pics on the net of ppls stock bikes, best to search in Japanese as there are a lot of Japanese owner maintenance blogs

Np...the wiring is going to be a pig to sort as there were changes throughout the 14 years of production..also good scans of wiring diagrams are hard to find (and all in Japanese)..using the phone app to translate barely works on the online ones and the workshop manuals are over $300....My bike wiring is intact but has been rerouted in some areas, so if you get stuck I can at least tell you what go's to what in most cases...
