A little tip for those brake-bleeding attempts that seem to become a messy time-consuming chore. This one works if you are not in a hurry to get your brakes organized for work the next day. I simply drain the fluid via the nipple at the brake caliper with the reservoir lid off. Refill the reservoir with new fluid. Do a quick bleed, tighten the nipple, cable-tie the brake lever, or put some kind of weight on the peddle then leave over a night or two. The air finds its own way out. Repeat the cable tie if it is still a tad spongy. This has always worked for me. It was especially useful to avoid surface damaging fluid spillage on my GSXR750s when I had them.

if that fails, a mighty vac on both ends might work a miracle... or you (I) put the seals in the master in bassackwards.
