Yeah Shane, CAD can do your head in, I had a "student" autodesk professional licence , (3 yr), which I renewed twice,,they were onto me, and stopped me from using it late last year, I tried many other programs, but most required windows 10, which I avoid like the plague, auto cad, 123 design, freecad, were mostly "unsupported" , I thought I'd won the lottery when I bit my tongue and paid for :idk: access to Solidworks,,something I've always wanted, but, alas, it also wanted windows 10, and operated via "the cloud" which combined with Scotty, from marketing's fantastic "wireless" broadband bullchit idea, (which ends up having to travel via the last underground copper telstra wires in the works, to connect me to a slower than building a V8 speed internet connection (I suspect their "builder" sub only has access to a small part of the solidworks program), I spat the dummy & cancelled my subscription (I was amazed a refund will happen) Autodesk fusion 360 does almost everything I require, but,,,,it will not allow you to export skp files without a subscription,,,but they are not possible any more (unsupported, again)
All the previously mentioned CAD programs are similar, but different in their use, so every one requires hours of learning,,,

I'm getting too expensive to run,,,,,

Clearly I haven't used fusion in a little while, I'm not on w10, either. And to get w10 you simply buy a new computer. Well maybe an upgrade is feasible, but a blank install was $250 or so.

Sorry, we have hijacked the thread.

Trials bike has a new rear tyre, and I've rebuilt the brakes again - hopefully it's going to work this time. The caliper seals are rolling the piston back so I don't get enough pressure on the pads or of a stroke. Then the YZ 125 gets jetting

I spy with my little eye... YPVS. And undertail pipes. RZ500? USD forks: TZR250 the rare V-twin version? This sticky-beak looked at few things there, like a alloy frame with banana swingarm... Nosey little so-and-so says "nice! And clean looking, too."

ShaneP haha , I will give you the low down...
It's my 1990 TZR250 3MA-3 :) Reverse cylinder parallel twin ( carbs are at the front of the engine , exhaust straight out the back and under the seat.
That model came with the USD forks
By far my favorite bike to ride ( especially on the track ) !! TZR 250.jpg

While it isnt a bike... this is the new wheels for the Minister of Internal Affiars...much better suited to the roads she will travel for work than a Merc CLA250 Sport Wagon... now to just sell the Merc... I see a detailing weekend coming up.
This was when we went to Melbourne to look at it... no window tint on it then.

And today after the window tint...

Wow , look's super neat there Andy. look's like someone has been cleaning the new play toy already.
Funny how the outside weather makes the paint look two different colour's.
Are the extractor's / bigger dia sport system on order , they should make it get up and go even better , yes dear the muffler had a hole in it :lolsign:.

Haha... no cleaning.... yet. The colour is Impanema Sand... classified as Gold but it does change depending on viewing angle.
No, the exhaust is staying stock, after all it is only a twin turbo 3 litre V6 oil burner... now if it was the 5.0 litre Supercharged V8 it would be very different.
I think it would be a Cop magnet though...lol

Well , the spec's are pretty impressive , twin turbo , and yep the exhaust note would get people's attention , especially when you buried it to the floor.
Sound's like the new play toy would give the big bore SRX a run for it's money :lolsign:.

Wouldn't take long to do your work round's in that rocket :neo: , you'd be back home day's ahead of schedule , as long as weren't busted.

And all the other riders just park wherever , however :lolsign:

Not a bike, but my vac tester. Just need to do the wiring now but need to buy some suitable terminals. Then I will do the 2nd YouTube video on using this, assuming it works of course. :)

Finished wiring it up and tested it on my head with the same valves that I did in the first video. Works great. I will make that final video this weekend.

Searched high and low for the list of things to do to the mc22 yet, be damned if I can find that notebook! Punishment for organizing I swear. If it were on top of the pile where I last used it, I'd know where it was.

I am closing down MotoREcycle in March, appreciate you guys tagging me for parts but I am in the middle of clearing everything outthen going and getting a real job with silly perks like getting paid every week and annual leave. It’s a tough gig in the wrecking game, my average customer is over 40 years old , young ens tend to finance a new bike rather than fix their own , couple that with rising insurance and licensing costs as well as all the other business expenses make it really hard to make a decent living out of it. It’s been wild ride, but it is time to call it, I am bowing out with my pants on and money in the bank which I am proud of.

thanks to everyone for their support, it has been greatly appreciated.

some of you may know that the big cheese and I have had a falling out, hence my absence on late here, so this will be my last post.

    all the best

    Kiffsta

Thanks for all you have, from the forming of this fantastic forum, to the help you've provided, to sharing your adventure with the business , and to the inspiration you've been. You are such a generous bloke, with your knowledge, skills, time and friendship.

We wish you all the best for the next chapter of your life, and are sad to see you leave this online community: the greater loss is ours.
