Could not agree more, find a screw diver that fits perfectly onto the jets, tag it so you remember which one to use as you will use it many times.

Air filter is what I was talking about, but it's probably not the primary cause of your problems.

    OK!

I finally installed the new pilot jet in my carbs.

At first it took some time to start but after about 5 attempts she was alive.
Left warming for about 10 minutes and took the bike to ride.

Unfortunately almost the same thing happened. Just this time I was able to accelerate to 12 rpm easy (I stopped before going deaf again) and kept the engine running at a 2500rpm.

I took the bike for a ride but she eventually died with the same symptoms: seems to lack fuel.

keep trying till the battery run out of juice,

    Reviewing all:

At first I dismissing that carburettor. Everything that was in my reach disassemble, clean, install, break, shake, bolt and swap I've done, so now just left me to buy a second hand carb and give it a try.

    Any thoughts?
    Ideas?

    Thanks for all.

Tomorrow I'll post some video from the bike running (partly).

Have we done the really simple stuff with the fuel supply

Ride it with the cap slightly open (not with a full tank) to see that the tank breather is clear (so a vacuum isnt created to stop the fuel flow)

Take the main fuel hose off the carbys , put it in something to catch the fuel and put the kill switch on to see if fuel is flowing and the pump is pulling it thru.

    Is the tank clean?
    Are the internal filters clean?
    Is the fuel tap clean?

Hmm. I'd personally be changing the plan of attack slightly. End of the day, if your carbs are mostly clean you shouldn't be getting a flat spot that huge I wouldn't think. Have you done any electrical tests? I'm not sure what's on your bike you could have a current issue to your spark plugs when you open the throttle. When the crank is spinning faster the plugs fire more quickly and something may not be keeping up.

I'd take the leads off and cranking to see what the spark looks like. Just an alternate train of thought...

Well, there is a list of new items since the bike start to show this problem:

New 4 sparks plug following the manual code.
    Fuel lines new.
    Fuel filter new
    Air filter new
    Sliders holders (inside carb) new.
    Pilot Jet 4x new.
    Fuel/Petrol New.
    Flush old petrol
    Cleaned air filter box
    Cleaned carburettor and surround area.
Check all fuse in the fuse box.

    Haven't done:

Test the sparks plug outside the engine case and test for sparks.
Remove the fuel tap from the tank
Remove the tank from the bike and give a massive clean inside.
    Set fire to the motorcycle!

So... I just tested all sparks plugs and they all have blue purple solid spark coming from all plugs.

I couldn't try the idea to open the fuel cap and start because my battery is drained again after so many attempts.

Here is a video ( blurred ) of the spark. All the same colour, same consistency and blah...

Well, I managed to remove one of the ignition coil that supossed to have in the primary 2 to 4 ohms (ok) and the secondary with bad contact. During the process the cable snap and there was NO ohms, nothing. Dead! so right now I have to find some spare ignition coil or find some similar replacement!!

So.... I replaced both ignition coil with a second hand, orginal, with the factory value ohms and....

Nothing! Bike just try and try and try but doesn't start!

There is blue sparks coming from all leads, reinstall left igntion coil to the 1-4 spark hole and right ignition coil to 2-3 and nothing.

I kind of give up, I have no more ideas of how to fix this bike that once I used to ride.

I have no idea of which to take.
Mecanic in bondi said was a bad wire, fixed and advised me to give a good run and that's gonna be good as new.

    Nop!

Mechanic at beaconsfield first said was carbs setting.
    Nop!

Them he said was a fuel pump, fuel relay.

    Nop.

I never saw so many problems just to start a fkng bike.

Any advise and pray are welcome.

Hey Marco, are you 100% you wired the coils correctly ? How are your plugs ?

Could be your fuel pump ? when you turn the key does the bike make a ticking sound ?

Yes, it's all connected like the pick.

something else to check is the emulsion tubes, they sit under the main jets and have small holes in them, that get blocked up, another thing is how worn are your needles ? Can you post a pic of them ?

This is how I would approach it, set your clip on the needles down to the middle position as that is how it left the factory , remove the in-line filter in case that's restricting fuel , fit 4 new spark plugs unless yours are okay, full choke no throttle and hit the starter. I have seen lots of people use too much throttle when she is cold and it puts too much fuel in there and blackens the plugs.

What can cause issues is if you adjusted the idle to low, also did you change the settings for your air\fuel mix screws ?
