sounds like a false neutral to me... its the twilight zone where the gear shifter goes sometimes before its snapped back into reality... basically it didnt go into gear properly then did once you started letting the clutch out which engaged the gears heavily instead of a nice smoth transition using while the clutch is fully engaged..

Wasn't much fun making the original innards work with the Chinese cap.

They are here mate ... but they need work like most main fairings ..... a few tabs are broken also ..... they were on it though when I got the bike ...held on by roofing screws and cable ties :prankster:

Im doing too many bikes at once ..... and the Fizz needs an oil change and the clutch done so fairings on keeps being put off

    :D

heres the original photo from the for sale ad

definitely .... its looks worse in person .... the rear cowlings are all scratched up and they are held on even now with cable ties
And u can see theres a big chunk out of the headlight cowling too

So I tried to self diagnose the stutter when engine is warm. Saw a few of the same issues on the web and most lead to ignition related or fuel related.
Replaced the coils but the the thing still wants to die after 5-10 min. Next try the CDI and it doesn't look too healthy. Overkill on the glue....

Thanks Phil. Well, besides a local paint shop (they can match any colour for you on the spot), my main parts supplier is XCite Bikes. They can customise fairings, Chinese or Tyga, and stock heaps of parts here in Sydney. :D :D :D
