Alot more streamlined with the 400 tank ..... plus of course it has the same fuel tap and fuel gauge setup.
Same fit at the front also but will need some tab rearrangement at the back end.

I even got a bike mag thrown in :thumb_ups:

A few mud boulders had to be removed along the way .....

    Archaeology!

I found that seat loop I was on about. Maybe not a perfect match to your style but the build quality is high and the matching of the loop to the rear guard profile is well done. How your seat tail, the loop and the rear mudguard all work together is an important part of the finished look. As opposed to that very funny "Help Me" video clip that someone posted.

Here I was searching ebay for a 'gold' fuel cap for the 400 tank (it will be black) and this was right under my nose the whole time.....the original cap :imtheking:

Heres the underside of that cap .... key only goes in halfway and u can use a screwdriver to unlock it as well anyway..... maybe theres part of a broken key in there .... looks like the tumblers are damaged ..... maybe I will see what a locksmith has to say.

mine looks the same, but the gasket leaks fuel. The key works ok, though I suspect its from a different bike as the key looks like a later model ignition key

    Familiar looking motor :)
I found Mick Hone good for parts, apparently they have the biggest parts inventory of any Suzi dealer in Aus.
I envy you lot up north tho, lots of older bikes around. Here in Vic, they've all disappeared or require many dollars.

Mate Im stuck behind the safety car

I have 9 bikes here ATM and 1 is probably wat u would call complete
Among other things theres 3 Fizzers needing attention of varying degrees

I really want to do the GSX as its a custom build ....yours is looking great
the advantage of everyone else finishing theirs is I can pinch their ideas ....... :lolsign:

Your project looks nice. Look forward to seeing more. Just curious, what ratio tach did you end up with?
