Feels better than it was still sit forward enough without being hunched over.
The only issue at the moment is I cant get the brake lever low enough, just need to raise the forks slightly for the hose to clear and I can move it around a bit more.

    Now in full roadworthy mode.

Test ride revealed a flat spot just off idle, hoping it was just the bike not quite up to temp.

Yep nice to have it all sorted. The day didn't start well with it though.

Moved on the trailer just up the road from home and almost fell.
Got to the workshop and the stupid thing refused to start. After a little chat with the owner, he told me they foul plugs very very easily, amazingly when I pulled them out you would have thought they were years old, not weeks, new set of plugs and away it when.

Think I will keep some tools and a set of plugs on the bike somewhere.

    And registered.

First plate he pulled out was 1N3UM. I asked for another one, not having "in bum" on my bike.

So the last 3 months have been fairly pain free. Had the muffler break off, but was easily fixed. Have had some starting and fuel issues but after cleaning and resetting the carbs again it all seems OK.

Now I'm getting started on a new rear cowl. I've elected to modify a GSF250V cowl to suit my needs.

Its going to take a while but I'll get there in the end

just gotta watch how short the tail is..as im pretty sure to pass road worthy there has to be a spray gaurd of sorts that is 45 degrees out from the back wheel axel to stop spraying cars behind you..
