While I have a good collection of 250cc bikes, I thought I would share my other passion and that is collecting old school skateboards, actually my collection are reissues of the old ones from the 80's including Powell Peralta and Vision decks. I cant afford originals as some of them as many of them sell for over $2000 each, these ones are about $90 - $150 each and take me back to a time in the 80's and 90's where I lived and breathed skateboarding.

I have them strung up in the games room as a form of pop art, this is something I do with my son and hopefully when he turns 17 (7 more years), we can have a big sale on eBay and have enough money to buy him a decent car.

Some of the ones I have bought have gone up in value due to the limited release of them, while the hardcore skateboard deck collectors keep them in plastic, I open them up and display them as I think they are kind of cool.

So what do you collect ?

I must have subconsciously wanted to go to that concert! I've seen both bands over the years a few times... a shame about Doc Neeson. One of their classic all time albums is Face to Face - reminds me of my teenage years! The valve amp on the top I built myself from a kit from the USA...

I have decided that there are 2 more decks I want to get then Im going to stop buying them as that will take the count to 27, if I get $200 - $250 a deck in years to come then my Son will get a reasonable first car. Now I have to do something with my daughter, we are talking about buying old 70's and 80's RC cars like Tamiya and Kyosho and restore them, then she can offload them when she turns 17 and buy a car.

So if anyone has any old RC kit by Tamiya and Kyosho and wants some Xmas cash, please PM me.

I collect all sorts of old crap.
I have an old skateboard, a Midget Farrelly I think it is called.
It's got red clay wheels and two truck positions on the back wooden skinny deck.

What about scooters, can I say I have a scooter collection and a motorbike collection?
    I've a a 59 heinkel tourist, a Vespa rally180, SS180 and Sprint v. A couple of Bajaj chetacks and a lambretta.

Not big money, I used the bundelling technique. As for finding so many, I responded to a Gumtree ad for 1 buggy and started talking to the guy about what I was doing with them and he said cool, I have a few more... he had about 50 in various states of repair.
